George is a born-and-bred Limerickman who has lived in China, Korea and Kuwait. He currently resides in Vietnam, where he divides his time equally between teaching, writing and editing. He has a degree in English from NUI Galway and is currently wrapping up his master’s from University College London. George is a casino hobbyist who first got into gambling by learning blackjack through his grandfather – who called it “21” – when he was still a nipper.
